My career as an athlete started at the age of 4 and since then it has been a succession of new experiences and emotions, which I still feel every time I participate in a sports competition.
I competitively practiced various sports such as track and field, soccer, tennis, karate, motocross, MTB, and cycling.
I finished 7 marathons, 23 half marathons, falling in love with the triathlon in all its distances and specialties in 2001, completing 159 races in Italy, and abroad, including 12 Ironman and 60 Ironman70.3 and Half Distance.
I started my training in 1995 at the Higher Institute of Physical Education in Florence with the degree thesis "Modification of the Tactical Training Techniques and Training of Triathlon on the Trail".
In 2004 I attended the specialized degree course in Exercise Science at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Florence, with a graduation thesis of "The Frontier of Endurance: The Ironman".
During these years I have continued to update myself on the new methodologies and techniques of training, obtaining the qualifications of:
Ironman Certified Coach
Ironman Freestyle Stroke Analysis and Evaluation
TrainingPeaks Certified Coach
FIN instructor 2nd level
I am an Ironman Certified Coach, training methodologist, I plan and conduct programs for endurance sports athletes
Through the sports company MTrainingLab, for which I am responsible, I make the training methods and experiences I gained in these gratifying 23 years of sports studies and competitions available to athletes.
These methodologies have helped athletes to become Olympic champions, world champions of Ironman and athletes of many Age Groups to achieve their sports goals, optimizing the time to devote to training, following the philosophy of “less is more”.
